I grew up in Berkeley and I have lived most of my life here. (If you're interested, I can tell where else I've lived.)
I haven't always been an attorney. I initially worked in city planning, first for the City of Sonoma and then for the City of New York. I didn't find fulfillment, however, because I wasn't working directly with people. That's why I became a lawyer, and why I practice family law: So I can work one-on-one with my clients and help them directly with some of the most difficult times in their lives. I get real satisfaction from that.
